Completed within the Faculty of English, my doctoral work explored the possibilities of "post-secularism" as a framework for understanding literary and cultural production within South Asia and its diaspora. My research also provokes questions on the implications a post-secular analytic might have for ¡¡ãworld literature¡¡À and for work in literary and postcolonial theory.
My overall research interests are broad and diverse, from literary studies to semiotics to the range of issues within Postcolonial Studies:
