Nigel Ewington

Nigel Ewington specialises in international management and communication skills. He has lived and worked abroad in such diverse cultures as China, Bulgaria, Finland and Congo. He is a Senior Partner of TCO International Diversity Management and for the last 20 years he has led executive education and consulting projects with over 100 organisations both in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. These solutions have recently included change programmes in major Multi-National Corporations, facilitation for international teams and coaching for Senior Managers. He has recently been involved in the following projects:

Six years ago Nigel co-founded WorldWork Ltd that specializes in creating tools to support professionals working in the field of international management development. Here he has been particularly interested in individual competencies for transferring professional skills into unfamiliar cultural environments. He co-designed the competency set for The International Profiler psychometric tool which is now used by over 20 major global organisations as a way of coaching individuals involved in cross-cultural transitions.
 
Nigel is also very interested in developing executive education in the field of cross-cultural management in an academic context. He was responsible for setting up and directing 6 editions of the ‘Diploma in Inter-Cultural Management’ in partnership with University of Cambridge Programme for Industry. He is also a regular contributor to the ‘Post-graduate Certificate in Cross-Sector Partnership’ at the University of Cambridge, and teaches ‘Cross-Cultural Management’ on the MBA of China European International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai.
