Yeast Cell Biology

RESEARCH PROFILE

Our research concerns cell communication. We wish to discover how cells talk to each other and how we can influence what they say. Most of the work is performed in the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe as this provides a simple, genetically tractable, organism in which to study the communication process.
