Leonard Seabrooke


Len Seabrooke is Professor in International Political Economy and Director of the Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation (CSGR). Len joined PAIS and CSGR in March 2009, following positions at the International Center for Business and Politics at the Copenhagen Business School and the Department of International Relations at The Australian National University. His publications include The Social Sources of Financial Power (Cornell UP, 2006), US Power in International Finance (Palgrave, 2001), Everyday Politics of the World Economy (co-editor with John M. Hobson, Cambridge UP, 2007) and Global Standards of Market Civilization (co-editor with Brett Bowden, Routledge/RIPE Studies in Global Political Economy, 2006), and The Politics of Housing Booms and Busts (co-editor with Herman M. Schwartz, Palgrave, 2009). Len is co-editor of the international peer-review journal the Review of International Political Economy, the Editor-in-Chief of the Routledge/Warwick Studies in Globalisation Series, and co-editor of the Routledge/RIPE Studies in Global Political Economy series. He has published in a range of journals, including International Studies Quarterly, Review of International Political Economy, New Political Economy, European Journal of International Relations, and others. Len is also the Director of Studies of the Warwick Commission on International Financial Reform.

Len is also a Visiting Professor in the nd_politics" title="CBP">International Center for Business and Politics (CBP) at the Copenhagen Business School and also the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI).
