International Conference on Business, Law and Technology Issues (IBLT)

DECEMBER 5-7 2006

Dear Colleagues,

I cordially invite you and your staff to participate in the forthcoming International Conference on Business, Law and Technology (IBLT) which will be held on December 5-7, 2006  in Copenhagen, Denmark.  It is my pleasure to invite your faculty to submit a paper, an abstract or a workshop proposal for the conference.

The Conference welcomes all scholastic researches addressing current and emerging trends in business, law and technology. The Conference acts as a forum for exchanging innovative ideas and sharing research and practical experiences in business, law   and technology management. The conference aims to establish an effective channel of communication between academic educators, information systems workers, managers, industry consultants, legal practitioners and members of the judiciary to contribute, disseminate and learn from each other's work. The global dimension is emphasized to overcome cultural and national barriers and to meet the accelerating technological changes and changes in global economy. Papers are solicited that address these issues from an empirical and/or conceptual point of view.  All accepted papers will be published in the book 'Business, Law and Technology: Current Trends and Challenges' (ISBN 87-991385-0-6 and ISBN 87-991385-1-4) and nominated to 9 international journals.  Further details about the conference are available at www.iblt.eu

The conference will focus on the importance of the judiciary. As such, we have invited several legal experts to speak during the conference.  Our keynote speaker for December 5 morning session is the European Union (EU) Court of First Instance Judge Vadapalas Vilenas. We also have the confirmed participation of the Thai Chief Judge, high-raking EU officials and a member of the Commission drafting the EU Civil Code, as well as US officials. There will be further announcement on the list of invited speakers from the international courts.

In behalf of the organizers of the IBLT, I look forward to your participation.  We would be most grateful if you will forward this invitation to your colleagues.

Sincerely,

Dr. Sylvie Kierkegaard
Conference Chairman
