Times Higher Education rank Warwick as one the world’s top 50 most International Universities

FlagsThe University of Warwick has been ranked as one of the world’s top 50 most International Universities in today’s (Thursday 14th January 2016) Times Higher Education list of the most international universities.

Warwick was ranked 45th in the world in the table which examines the proportion of international staff, proportion of international students and proportion of research papers published with at least one co-author from another country.

  • Phil Baty, Times Higher Education World University Rankings editor said:

"An institution's global outlook is one of the key markers of a prestigious university. The top institutions hire faculty from all over the world, attract students from a global market of top talent and collaborate with leading departments wherever they happen to be based. All institutions in this list deserve to celebrate - being named one of the most international universities in the world is a sign of great potential, competitiveness and dynamism."

  • Warwick’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Nigel Thrift said:

“This result recognises Warwick’s significant international reputation and engagement. We now have students and staff from over 120 countries on our campus, and in the last decade we have added significantly to our international links and activities. Most recently we have developed close relationships with Monash University in Australia and partnerships in New York and California."
