The Spectroscopy RTP is based in Millburn House and offers state of the art spectroscopic capabilities. We have instruments offering Raman, photoluminescence (PL), optical absorption (UV-Vis and FTIR) and Electron Paramagnetic Resonance. Diffraction limited imaging is available for Raman, PL and FTIR absorption.
Our experienced team have worked with a wide range of samples under a variety of conditions and are happy to share their experience to facilitate your research. The spectroscopy facility is available for industrial use at competitive rates.

There will be a power shutdown on Friday 24 May in Millburn house as part of the work for the new NMR magnet. The spectroscopy Lab will be closed to users from midday on Wednesday 22nd May till midday on the the Tuesday 29th to allow for shut down and start of of the spectrometer. It is advised that all users stay away form the building on the 24th till the 29th.
