Content feed page template

Use the Content feed page template to display content from another page in SiteBuilder's old visual editor.

Note: If you're using the Components Editor, use a Content feed component.

  1. Browse to the location where you want to create the retrieving page.

  2. Go to Edit > Create a new page:

The SiteBuilder 'Edit' menu, with the 'Create a new page' option highlighted

  3. Expand the Change page template section, then select Change.

  4. Select Content feed from the list of standard templates.

  5. Choose whether to retrieve content From a SiteBuilder page or From another web page (i.e. external to warwick.ac.uk):

  6. Enter the Source page URL.

  7. Choose whether or not to rewrite relative links to point to content relative to the source page. When Rewrite links to point to linked page is not selected, links are relative to the retrieving page. If you're not sure which option to choose, select this checkbox.

  8. Enter the URL, page heading, title bar caption and link caption. For a description of these properties, see our article on how to create a new blank page.

  9. When you have finished editing the page properties, select Create new page. You see a confirmation message with a link to view the new page.
