Estates Office named "Employer of the Year" by City College Coventry

The Estates Office has been named "Employer of the Year" in City College Coventry's 2016 Shine Awards.

We were nominated by City College's Carpentry Assessor who was impressed with the work of our own Lee Cartwright and his support for the 3 apprentices training on campus. The award comes in recognition of Lee’s commitment to ensuring the apprentices benefit from a well-rounded experience, his proactive approach, and the way he goes above and beyond, making sure the University maintains a strong relationship with the College.

Stuart Croft, Vice-Chancellor said:

I’m really pleased to see Lee’s commitment recognised in this way, and I’m grateful to colleagues across the Estates team for their work to ensure our apprentices can benefit from such a well-rounded experience to develop their expertise. This is exactly the supportive working environment we seek to offer at Warwick, and I’m proud that City College has recognised our efforts through this award.
