Now available for Arts Faculty staff, PGR, PGT, and undergraduates

Whatever you do, in every discipline, and indeed in every aspect of life today, digital technologies can be used to significantly extend and amplify your capabilities. The Digital Arts and Humanities Certificate of Participation has been designed to give you a sophisticated and systematic approach to making the most from digital technologies in research, teaching, outreach and beyond the university. It is designed to fit neatly with your needs and availability, as a combination of activities supported by experts, personalised learning, and a broad range of short sessions to choose from.

Although not credit bearing, the Certificate is a valuable addition to your CV. You can link back to a page on the Faculty web site as proof of completion.

Completing the course gives you an official Certificate, but also a powerful set of capabilities and digital confidence.

Registration is open now for all Arts Faculty students and staff.

The hybrid course starts on the 30th of April and runs every Wednesday until the 26th of June, in hyflex mode: attend in the FAB, online in Teams, or catch up in your own time.

Complete:

• 6 x 30 minute workshops that you can choose from a wide selection of workshops.
• 6 x short reflective form on each workshop.
• 1 x individual reflective report.

Support for projects, and for developing deeper more specialised tech skills will be organised in response to needs as they emerge. All of the sessions use a HyFlex approach, meaning that you get the best possible experience if you can attend live on campus, live online participation is possible but not quite as good, and if necessary you can catch-up and participate in your own time.
