I am an Early Career Fellow in the Institute of Advance Study and a part-time tutor of Modern World Literatures module in the English and Comparative Literary Studies Department at the University of Warwick. My research explores manifestation of uneven and combined development in literary form with a particular focus on the registration of urbanscapes of New York and Istanbul in the twentieth century American and Turkish literatures. My research interests include modernism, postmodernism, neoliberalism, world literature debates, and Marxist critical theory.
