If I were you I would read 'A room of one's owm' before you come to the first session--there is an edition online. We shall be using several examples of women's writing from Eds. Jill Millman and Gillian Wright, Early Modern Women's Manuscript Poetry (Manchester University Press, 2005). It is £16:99 and probably worth buying from the bookshop. Also worth buying is Danielle Clarke's Three Renaissance Women Poets (Penguin. 2001). It has a great introduction and we are doing two out of the three poets.
