Professor; BA; MA (Cardiff); PhD (Warwick); BAPDF/JRF (Corpus Christi, Oxford); Associate Fellow of the English Association. Visiting fellowships: Madison-Wisconsin; Huntington Library, California. Research interests

Poetry 1750-present; philosophy & literature; religion; Heidegger. At Warwick, I'm the co-founder of CoRAL Comparative Religions and Literatures; and a member of Critical Environments and the Centre for Research in Philosophy and Literature. My current project, supported by a Leverhulme Research Fellowship, is Christina Rossetti: Poet of Grace (Oxford University Press), which examines Rossetti's reading of 'grace' as a poetic negotiation of ecology. I'm broadly interested in poetry, phenomenology and religion (Dharmic and Abrahamic).
