2015-16: keynote at the Blackfriars Conference at the American Shakespeare Centre, Staunton, Virginia; visiting teaching at Mary Baldwin College, Staunton. Workshops with/at: sixth-formers at the Solihull School (Birmingham); undergraduates at UC-Merced, California; HMP Leicester. Panels and talks: English Speaking Union 'Performing Shakespeare' National Final at Gielgud Theatre, London; Kurosawa's Ran at the Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff; British Library, London, conference: ‘All the World’s a Stage’: Shakespeare in Europe and the Americas; Pendley Shakespeare Festival. For the Prague Shakespeare Company: workshops and directing semi-staged readings of The Two Gentlemen of Verona and The Two Noble Kinsmen. Co-organiser and participant in 'Celebrating Shakespeare' festival, Havana, Cuba. Invited speaker at the 4th World Humanities Forum, Seoul, South Korea.

2014-15: included plenary at the Shakespeare Theatre Asssociation conference in San Francisco; co-organiser of 'Acting Against the Grain: Non-Traditional Shakespeare' (UK Festival of the Humanities, Stratford-upon-Avon, November 2014). Also engagements, talks and seminars at: NYU Abu Dhabi; Monash, Melbourne; Fargo (Misfit-con), North Dakota; Prague Shakespeare Company, Czech Republic; European Shakespeare Reseach Association (Worcester, July 2015).

2013-14: included plenary at the Shakespeare Theatre Association conference in Stratford, Ontario. Talks and events in 16 towns and cities across North America during 'Shakespeare on the Road'; workshop and seminars at Université Paul Valéry, Montpellier 3 (March and November 2014); co-ran seminar on European Shakespeare Festivals at the Paris 450 Shakespeare conference (April 2014); workshops with teachers from Gdansk at the University of Bergen, Norway (June 2014);

2012-13: included keynote at Unlearning Shakespeare conference at Oxford Brookes University; lectures at the Shakespeare Institute and Shakespeare Club, Stratford-on-Avon; talks and workshops in Essaoiura, Morocco; teaching at Cambridge Shakespeare Summer School.

2011-12: included workshops on Measure for Measure for teachers at the RSC, Stratford-on-Avon; talks and workshops in Marrakech, Morocco.

2010-11: included co-conducting seminars at Université Paul Valéry, Montpellier 3, and at the 2011 World Shakespeare Congress in Prague, and delivering two days of workshops during the RSC residency at Ohio State University in June 2011.

2009-10: papers in Washington DC and Chicago (Shakespeare Association of America), Stratford-on-Avon ('If you have writ your annals true' conference), and Warwick (Creativity and Performance in Teaching and Learning Colloquium) and guest lectured (and/or workshopped) at: ICES, La Roche-sur-Yon, France; The University of Bergen, Norway; summer schools at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford; The Shakespeare Institute, Stratford-on-Avon; Shakespeare's Globe. In Spring 2010 I delivered a series of Shakespeare workshops in the US (Vanderbilt, UNC Chapel Hill, Loyola [Baltimore], San Francisco State University) and the Far East (Tsinghua University, Beijing, and Taiwan Normal University, Taipei.)
