Daddy was around for all of it. He only missed the second as the midwives had sent him home, convinced there were hours left to go, and she was born after only 30 minutes of labour. He couldn't get back to the hospital in time. Thank goodness they didn't send me home too- he'd have been a very involved daddy then!
