Public Engagement Activities by the Parish Network

The Network aims for greater exchange between parish historians and the wider public. This page highlights a range of recent initiatives - please send any further items to the webmaster (b.kumin@warwick.ac.uk).

  • Joanne Anderson's research on wall paintaings of St Mary Magdalen in the eastern Alps has led to newspaper coverage in the Italian weekly Alto Adige and collaboration with the Archivio Storico (city archive) of Bolzano / Bozen (South Tyrol / Italy);

  • Beat Kümin's work on English parishes has informed public lectures and involvement in a local history project in Warwickshire;
