The assessment for this module is as follows:

Assignment 1: Seminar contribution (10%)

Assignment 2: 1 x 1500 word essay (10%)

Assignment 3: 1 x 3000 word essay (40%)

Assignment 4: 1 x 2 hour exam (40%) For 2022/23: 7 day take home exam with citations and bibliography.

Seminar contribution will be assessed on the basis of your participation in both the online forums and the weekly seminars, as well as a self-evaluation form, to be uploaded to Tabula.

Some suggested essay questions are available here. Students are actively encouraged to devise their own essay questions, but should make sure to confirm the title with Dr Toropova or Professor Mick before starting work on the essay.
