Katharina Forster - PhD Student

About

I earned a Master’s degree in German and English Studies at the University of Regensburg, Germany, while pursuing a teaching certificate in secondary education and German as a Foreign Language. After graduation, I spent a year as language assistant for German at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology in Ulaanbaatar before starting my PhD at the University of Warwick. In my research project dedicated to transcultural novels of formation, I re-examine recent works of post-colonial and migration literature within the genre tradition of the German Bildungsroman.
