This module aims to train students in the writing of a substantive piece of research, at the end of which they will produce an essay of an equivalent length and scope to an academic article. It gives them the opportunity to experience postgraduate work and to delve into an area of Hispanic Studies of particular interest to them (subject to the availability of adequate supervision). Students on the dissertation module will have the opportunity to share their work with one another and with Hispanic Studies staff during an undergraduate conference, to take place during the second term of the final year.
