Senior Department Administrator

Julia's main responsibility is to provide a comprehensive administrative service for staff and students through the development and delivery of systems and procedures which meet University requirements and ensure the smooth running of the Global Sustainable Development degrees. This includes working with the Programmes Coordinator and the Interdisciplinary Programmes' Officer, to maintain accurate student records of attendance and progression, advise students on the University’s procedures regarding special circumstances, examination and assessment issues and processes such as temporary withdrawal, operate student feedback mechanisms and deal with module choices and timetabling queries. Julia provides support for the School's student recruitment and communications functions and has responsibilities in relation to the financial operations of the courses.
