This section contains links and advice pertaining to logistical concerns, including finance, accommodation, disability support, and support for international students.

Financial advice

Student Funding - A small friendly team able to offer advice and guidance on all aspects of student financial support including government grants and loans.

Finance Office - The Student Finance office is responsible for managing the collection of all fees from students including tuition fees, accommodation fees, library fines and any other charges students may have whilst they are at Warwick.

Students' Union Advice Centre - This service is an independent, free, and confidential Students' Union service for all Warwick students offering information, advice and representation on a host of matters including housing, academic, immigration, and financial problems.

Accommodation

Warwick Accommodation (for university owned or managed accommodation) - Warwick Accommodation manage the accommodation requirements of the University of Warwick, both campus and off-campus.

Residential Life Team (if living on campus) - The Residential Life team work and live alongside students within the Halls of Residences and are a key part of the University’s welfare and support network.

Students' Union Advice Centre - If you are living in private accommodation, this independent advice and information service will be able to advise you. The SU Advice Centre can also advise students in university owned and managed housing.

Disability support

If you have specific learning needs, such as dyslexia, ADHD, Asperger's, etc., or if you have a physical impairment, Warwick and PAIS provide specialised help to overcome any barriers to your learning experience. There are three main resources at your disposal:

Disability Services - The Disability Services team work with students with a wide range of disabilities making reasonable adjustments to assist with barriers to study.

Personal Tutor - Your personal tutor will respond to requests for help and advice about non-academic matter, signposting you to the most appropriate source for additional help where applicable.

Residential Life Team (if living on campus) - The Residential Life team work and live alongside students within the Halls of Residences and are a key part of the University’s welfare and support network.

If you require special exam arrangements, you must request this through the Disability Office.

International support

If you are from outside the UK, there are several resources available to help you with language support, adjusting to life in the UK, and visa issues.

International Office - The International Office provides advice and guidance on everything 'international' from the admissions process to student support and immigration support.

The Centre for Applied Linguistics (CAL) - CAL is a good source of help in case of language difficulties, and they offer classes for all students at the University.

University Counselling Service - The University Counselling Service provides an opportunity for all students at any level and at any time of study at the University of Warwick to access professional therapeutic counselling so that they may better develop and fulfil their personal, academic and professional potential. Their information about culture shock may be of particular interest.

Your Personal Tutor and the Residence Life Team (if living on campus) can also help with adjusting to living and studying in the UK.
