Fiona Ingram

Fiona is Head of Young People’s Programmes at the Royal Shakespeare Company, and a CAPITAL Associate Fellow.

Fiona has spent most of her career working as an education director in professional theatre. She has worked for companies such as The Everyman Theatre Cheltenham, Oxford Playhouse and Orange Tree Theatre Richmond until she became the Head of Young People’s Programmes at the RSC. Her roles involve the delivery of a variety of theatre-based projects and workshops for young people in formal and informal education from the ages of 5- 25, enabling them to have a positive experience of Shakespeare as a performance text. A project she and her team have recently delivered was the Mini Complete Works Festival which saw over 2300 young people performing the complete plays of Shakespeare twice through on one of the RSC stages. She is currently working on the second year of delivery of the RSC Learning Network for drama teachers, which offers primary and secondary schools a sustained relationship with the RSC.

She is currently on maternity leave until October 2008.
