Workshop on Orestes with Shared Experience

The CAPITAL Centre and Shared Experience offer a workshop based on the production of Euripides’ ORESTES visiting the Arts Centre. This special event is a unique opportunity to understand the workings of the company from a creative and technical perspective. The session will be held on stage and takes the audience through scene work with actors form the company and creative ideas, asking for suggestions and feedback along the way. Members of the stage management team will provide an insight into their preparations for the production. Set, lighting and sound design will also be covered. Students are expected to have seen or be about to see the Shared Experience production of ORESTES for which tickets will be provided for students taking EN302 for the performances at Warwick Arts Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday 10 and 11 October.

Tickets to the performance and to the workshop are offered to Warwick students taking European Theatre (EN302) for whom attendance at both is a requirement of the course. Students from Classics and Theatre Studies are welcome to attend the workshop but are expected to purchase their own theatre tickets.
