New Plays in New Ways

Greyscale is a theatre company at the cutting edge of contemporary theatre writing, developing and producing processes. form October to March Over Lorne Campbell, Greyscales's Artistic Director and Warwick\RSC Fellow in Creativity and Performance, is working with Warwick staff and students as Actors, Director, Designers, Musicians and Writers in three groups to create three new pieces of theatre.

Working collaboratively in ways they haven't before they are making some odd, wonderful and truly modern theatre.

The committment involves five weekend workshops ( 31 Oct./1Nov.; 21/22 Nov.; 6 Dec.; 23/24 Jan.; 20/21 Feb.) plus independent work in their own time.

In order to apply interested persons were asked to

1. Choose which role interests them

2. Write 50 words about their favourite piece of art.

3. Write 200 words about which job they were interested in doing and why.

4. Come and audition. (Group auditions by invitation)

The work will be shown at the end of March.
