Research with policy and practice implications for policing
COPR is an interdisciplinary centre uniting researchers from across the University. We work with a range of partners from The Belgrade Theatre in Coventry to the International Protections Appeal Tribunal in Dublin, as well as police and Border Force officers, engaging stakeholders and communities and creating real world impact.
We offer a new approach to policing research, from a variety of theoretical and methodological standpoints, with expertise in areas such as organisational and individual behaviour, criminal justice and psychology, digital forensics, cyber security, immigration, ethical challenges of policing technology, trust and confidence in policing, as well as legal regulation of criminal investigations, police custody and suspects' rights.
COPR involves researchers from departments across the University. Find out who we are and how we deliver research with policy and practice implications for policing.
