Our Academic Fellowships programme awards grants to members of staff (as individuals or in groups) to fund projects which demonstrate an impact on the teaching, learning and assessment within the host department(s). The deadline for the next round of funding is 31 January 2008, and we are currently seeking expressions of interest from staff in any discipline who may wish to develop and enhance the research content of an undergraduate module or course.

We are particularly keen to invite collaborative applications, and to this end we will be holding an 'academic networking' event on Wednesday 28 November at 2pm where interested members of staff can meet and share their ideas. We hope that this may be the catalyst for the generation of collaborative projects, both within and across departments and faculties. Resulting proposals will be fast-tracked through the application process.
