Belated congratulations to Becky Fisher on her appointment in August as Departmental Administrator (Research, Finance and Operations) in Sociology. Becky worked in various roles in IATL from December 2013; we were sad to see her go but wish her every success in her new role.

We were recently pleased to welcome Hannah Copeland to the team, seconded from WBS to succeed Becky as Academic Projects Manager. Among other things, Hannah will be working on the administration for the new Humanitarian Engineering MSc courses.

Finally, an announcement that Elena Riva, one of our Teaching Fellows, recently became our Director of Undergraduate Studies.
