About me
-Jocelyn approaches antimicrobial research (AMR) from a social science perspective, focusing on the interactions between patients and the health system, healthcare-seeking behaviour, social and technological change, and by using realist synthesis.
-She conducts mixed-methods research with a regional focus on Southern Africa, predominately using qualitative methodology.
-Current research activities include interviews and surveys with patients and health-workers to understand rural healthcare-seeking behaviour in the context of antibiotic use in rural South Africa (Please read more about the ABACUS study below).
