Warwick Doctor wins research award

Congratulations to Dr. Manu Vatish, Associate Professor at Warwick Medical School, who has been awarded a research grant and fellowship from the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust allowing him to embark on a new research project investigating problems associated with obesity in pregnancy.

Dr. Vatish will spend three months in the US at Harvard Medical School researching problem pregnancies with his clinical research being conducted at hospitals in the Bronx, New York - well known for its obese population.

Dr. Vatish anticipates his research and the resulting recommendations and guidelines will be ready for publication later this year.
