Research Interests

Peter Kimani researches on adaptive clinical trials. Specifically, he has been developing new estimators following adaptive clinical trials and optimal models for treatment selection in adaptive clinical trials.

Biography

Peter is an Associate Professor in Medical Statistics. He joined Warwick Medical School in September 2009 as a research fellow after completing a PhD in Statistics from the department of Statistics, University of Warwick. Before Warwick, Peter studied MSc (Biostatistics) and MSc (Applied Statistics) both from Universiteit Hasselt in Belgium and BSc (Mathematics) from the University of Nairobi in Kenya. In Kenya, Peter held data management positions for several trials. Peter is a member of the Child Abuse Review journal editorial team (Statistical editor) and of Statistics in Medicine editorial team (Associate editor).
