Professor Geoff Meads

The Module Leader, Professor Geoff Meads, is a Senior Civil Servant and Visiting Professor at City, Derby and Warwick University and King Alfred's College, Winchester.  After graduating in History from St Catherine's College, Oxford, his career has progressed in the health and social care sector, including appointments such as Regional Director of Performance Management in the South West NHS Region and Primary and Community Care in Warwick and Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Family Health Services Authority.  He joined the Senior Civil Service in April 1996 and has been closely involved in central policy for primary care organisations and their development.  His research interests are International Primary Care Organisational Developments; NGO policies and practice in the health sector; interprofessional relationships and role of faith based committees in health systems developments.
