Dr. Krish Ramachandran

 Dr Krish Ramachandran is a Consultant Anaesthetist based at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. His principal interest is managing acute postoperative pain in patients undergoing major abdominal and orthopaedic surgery particularly the use of regional anaesthetic techniques. As departmental lead for regional anaesthesia and acute pain he has been instrumental in setting up the ward based epidural service for surgical patients at UHCW. Over the last 10 years Dr Ramachandran has taught and practiced a wide variety of regional techniques for a range of surgical procedures. In addition he has set up training workshops for junior and consultant anaesthetists in the Northwest and West Midlands regions. As co module leader for the pain module he is aiming to promote the understanding of the theory and practice of acute pain in the hospital setting.
