What does it mean to be a Warwick doctor?

We think Warwick doctors are different.

Find out why.

Being a 'Warwick doctor' means more than just being a doctor who graduated from Warwick...

Our students think Warwick doctors are different thanks to the diversity of their peers during their degree. As well as welcoming students straight from science, arts and humanities degrees, every year we're joined by people from a wide range of professional careers, meaning each year group can benefit from the valuable experiences of their fellow students.

Our teaching staff think our doctors are different because of their thirst for knowledge, always striving to learn more and help each other succeed.

Health professionals think our doctors are different because of their excellent communication skills, developed through early patient contact from the very first term of their degree.

We think our doctors are different because of their motivation, resilience and determination. All of our students have already completed a degree when they join us and in many cases have made significant sacrifices to study here. They are committed to becoming the very best doctor they can possibly be.

Warwick Medical School upholds a core set of values for its students and staff. We support our students to develop and nurture skills and attributes that help make Warwick Doctors different. Warwick Doctors encompass key attributes including kindness, integrity, humility, innovation and creativity and are dedicated to helping others. Our community are committed to ensuring our students can excel and sustain these values.
