Joining Instructions

Warwick Conferences provides two documents (welcome and FAQ) with all sorts of info, but

briefly:

Getting to Warwick:
flying: to Birmingham International (BHX), then taxi to campus
train: to Coventry, then either taxi or number 12 bus
car: you need to end up on either the A45 or A46 round the south of Coventry, then follow "University of Warwick" signs. Free carparking available.

Registration desks will be staffed from 11am to 4pm at "Conference Reception" in the Students Union (clearly signposted from all round campus), and lunch will be available to all delegates in the adjacent Rootes building (one floor up) from 12 noon.

The scientific sessions begin at 1.30pm on April 15th in L3, in the Chemistry/sciences block. We will finish at 1pm on the 17th.

It will be possible to put posters up adjacent to the scientific sessions from 11 am on the 15th. Please use the numbering scheme in the conference book, posters should be portrait if A0, and can be either portrait or landscape if A1.

For those arriving late, scientific registration will be adjacent to the scientific sessions on the evening of the 15th, and during the day on the 16th.

Rooms will not be available until after 3pm on the day of arrival. Left luggage facilities are available where you register.

Arriving by car: Park in the car parks 7, 8, 8a or 15 leaving your luggage in the car, and then proceed to registration and lunch. Car parking will be free, but car parks 7 and 15 are barrier controlled, and you will need to collect a blue token when you enter, which will be validated at conference reception, allowing you to leave.

Arriving by public transport: come straight to Confernce Reception to register: left luggage facilities are available here. Rootes is very close to the main bus stops and the taxi rank.
