Warwick's School of Engineering comprises four, individual discipline streams who all work in concert to offer a General (combined) experience to our undergraduate students in the early years of study. Later many students choose to specialise in one of the streams (either Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Systems Engineering).

The School works hard to forge links with key people in industry. This is particularly important in terms of degree accreditation and content relevance. As such the streams host regular Industry Advisory Panels. As an example the Mechanical & Systems Engineering Panel has welcomed representatives from aerospace, automotive, general engineering, systems industries, and the armed forces into the School to discuss degree provision and key aspects of learning.

We would be most interested to hear from you if you would like to join such a panel. We aim to form groups which include a mix of technical specialists, management level engineers and graduate intake engineers to allow different perspectives to be offered.
