Background

James started his PhD in the Power and Control Systems Laboratory in May 2017 having completed a Masters in Physics from the University of Oxford. His research is investigating the integration of a battery energy storage into the University of Warwick’s energy system.

Research Interests

• Load simulation of micro-grids
• Battery system modelling
• Techno-economic modelling of energy systems
• Integration of distributed energy resources
