Developed as part of an EU funded programme, the single-skin brick tank uses fired clay bricks to provide up to 6 cubic metres of storage for minimal cost. External steel (packaging) strap gives hoop strength to the tank while the single skin of brick gives stiffness. The tank is internally rendered with cement mortar mix.
