MSc TUGS Welcome Week

Our academic induction activities during Welcome Week are designed to help you settle in, make new friends and prepare yourself for the start of term.

Wednesday 25 September 9am - 10am OC0.05 (Oculus Building, Ground Floor) School of Engineering: Welcome Part 1
  10am - 12 noon OC1.05 (Oculus Building, First Floor) School of Engineering: Welcome Part 2
  12 noon - 1pm F105/F106 (School of Engineering, First Floor) Social
  1pm - 2pm F105/F106 (School of Engineering, First Floor) Tour of the School of Engineering
Thursday 26 September 12 noon - 1pm F211 (School of Engineering, Second Floor) IT Training

During Welcome Week you will also need to collect your Personal Protective Equipment (a laboratory coat, safety shoes and safety glasses). Your PPE can be collected from the van outside the Ramphal Building at a time to suit you within the following timeslots. Please make a note of these times, as PPE collection will not appear in your Welcome Week timetable:

Thursday 26 September 10am - 12 noon, 1pm - 4pm
Friday 27 September 10am - 12 noon, 1pm - 4pm

A full academic induction programme and teaching will begin on Monday 30 September. Please see your timetable for details.

The information on this page is relevant to students on the MSc Tunnelling & Underground Space degree. Students on the other MSc programmes have a different timetable.
