Behind the scenes at IBO 2017

From 23-30 July 2017, over 250 young biologists from 68 countries came to the University of Warwick to take part in the International Biology Olympiad (IBO). The IBO, which takes place every year in different locations across the globe, sees pre-university students compete in a series of practical experiments and theoretical exams in what is the biggest biology competition in the world.

The IBO couldn't take place without the hard work of lots of volunteers getting involved in a variety of roles. Hear from colleagues about their contribution to the IBO and what they enjoyed about it.

Thank you to all our staff and student volunteers who helped to support a very successful IBO.
