Global and connected

Here in Life Sciences we are committed to providing all our students with international and intercultural experiences, acknowledging how such experiences broaden global perspectives. We do this through encouraging engagement with the following optional activities;

• Brazil Field Trip – Students undertake experience at the Centre for Marine Biology at the University of Sao Paulo (limited places-additional costs apply)
• Study Abroad Opportunities
• ICUR – International Conference of Undergraduate Research – Undergraduate students have the opportunity to present their research on an international stage

In the curriculum

Biology is a global subject and this is reflected in our courses and curriculum.

We run a portfolio of exchange programmes with Monash, McMasters, and EU institutions and organise a marine biology field trip to a research station in Brazil.

We also support industrial placements abroad as part of our MBio in Industry and Placement Year programmes.

Outside of the School of Life Sciences there is a range of opportunities to immerse yourself into Warwick's intercultural and international experience.

Warwick Students' Union (SU) has over 250 societies! There is something for everyone and you can always start your own. Check out the full list of societies, but here are a few you can start with:

International mobility opportunities

Students of Life Sciences are encouraged to undertake international opportunities, we provide the chance to study relevant courses or undertake research abroad at the following institutions to name just a few;

• Nanyang Technological University - Singapore
• University of Strasbourg - France
• Neuroscience research placement - University of Malta
