Stochastic geometry

This is an old subject but one which has seen rapid development in the last 40 years stimulated by mathematical insights, computational developments, and many applications. Current developments in stochastic geometry typically require very substantial computer resources coupled with aggressive use of modern mathematical ideas (percolation, statistical mechanics, geometrical curvature) [A, P, C, S].
