Travelling to Warwick

Formal directions to get to the Mathematics Institute are available from the following webpage Warwick Maths

From London

Getting to Warwick from London is easiest acheived by the express train from Euston to Coventry which takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Then from Coventry train station you can either get the number 12 bus or a taxi. It is a 20 minute bus journey or 10-15 minute taxi.

Alternatively, there is a train from Marylebone, London to Leamington Spa. Once at Leamington Spa, there is a bus to the university which takes 20 minutes during off-peak traffic and 40 minutes during peak traffic. Again, a taxi is possible from Leamington to the university.

International Participants

There are regular flights to Birmingham International Airport from most major European cities. Once at Birmingham it is a short 25 minute train to Coventry. Alternatively, a taxi from Birmingham is possible. There are close airports at both East Midlands and Coventry as well.

It is also possible to fly direct to London and take the train as mentioned previously.

Accommodation

On the conference registration form, there is a section where participants can request that the Mathematical Research Centre(MRC) organise accommodation. We are booking rooms in anticipation of guests and have a variety of rooms such as on-campus accommodation and also accommodation in surrounding areas such as Kenilworth.
