Geometric Measure Theory

10-14 July 2017, Room B3.03, Mathematics Institute, University of Warwick

Organizers: Giovanni Alberti, David Preiss

Local organizers: Tomasz Kania, Martin Rmoutil, Thomas Zürcher

Main topics. Structure of metric measure spaces, spaces satisfying the Poincaré Inequality, function spaces on these spaces, Lipschitz differentiability, combinatorial aspects of geometric measure theory and related questions.

Calculus of variations and pde aspects of the geometric measure theory will be treated only when relevant to the main topics. These themes are handled, for example, in the workshop Recent Advances in PDEs and the Calculus of Variations.
