Warwick’s Health Services Management Course Director nominated for national NHS award

Warwick Medical School’s Course Director of Health Services Management and Honorary Associate Clinical Professor Dr Jagdeesh Singh Dhaliwal has been nominated for an award in the inaugural NHS Leadership Awards scheme.

Dr Dhaliwal has been shortlisted for the NHS Mentor of the Year, a category aimed at honouring anyone who has a reputation for being a committed and sought-after leadership and management mentor.

The awards aim to recognise outstanding leadership through seven categories:  NHS Leader of the Year, Mentor of the Year, Partner of the Year, Quality Champion of the Year, Change Leader of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Award for Inspiration.

People working within the NHS were invited to nominate their peers for the awards. Dr Dhaliwal has been shortlisted with two other candidates from amongst seven hundred nominees.  The final ceremony when the winners are announced will be held on Wednesday 25 November.
