Funded places

The workshops are open to early-career researchers with an interest in the theme. It is free to attend but places are limited. Early registration is recommended.
 
Lunch will be provided for everyone on both days and dinner on the first evening.
 
There is limited funding available for travel and accomodation. To be eligible to apply for funding, you must:
  • Be an early-career researcher (usually a PhD student or postdoctoral researcher)
  • Have a research interest in biomedical visualisation or a related field
  • Be travelling within Europe
  • Have no other source of funding to attend this event.
 Amounts
You can claim a contribution to travel by public transport (usually second-class rail travel). The maximum contribution to travel costs is: £80 (within UK) or £200 (outside the UK but within Europe).
For accomodation, you can claim up to £50 per night (UK applicants are usually limited to one night; if you travelling further, you may claim for 2 nights).
 
To apply
Register for each of the workshops you wish to attend, including a 500 word summary of how your interests are related to the workshop topic. You will be asked to declare that there are no other sources of funding available to you to attend this workshop (e.g. from your department or a research council).
Every effort will be made to confirm your place within 10 days.
