Warwick Spinal Immobiliser

Spinal cord injury has devastating consequences and it is known that current devices used to try to prevent this do not provide complete immobilisation of the cervical spine of injured patients. This study developed and tested a newly designed spinal immobiliser to determine whether it provided better immobilisation, whilst also overcoming some of the other limitations of devices in existing clinical use.

Further information about the study is available here.
