Biography

Catherine Hale, SFHEA, LLB (Hons), MSc, PGCE, Barrister at Law (Middle Temple), Mediator (CEDR Accredited), is a Professor specialising in medical law and ethics which she teaches both in the Law School and Medical School at the University of Warwick. She is also the Postgraduate Academic Lead for Learning Development and Course Director for the Iheed-Warwick MMedEd programme within WMS. She is an influential legal and ethical expert on issues related to health care and medical law, particularly current ethical issues. As a regular speaker at external events and media commentator she has provided lectures and commentary on key health care and legal issues.
