TEACHING

Felicity teaches widely across the University on research methods, ethics and the social aspects of genetics.

As well as supervising doctoral and research students, Felicity also lectures and teaches across various modules and courses (undergraduate and postgraduate) within WMS (including the Health Screening module, Social Determinants of Health and Systems: Cell to Society). She co-leads Mixed Methods for Health Research and guest lectures on the interdisciplinary module, Genetics: Science and Society.

Felicity also runs regular workshops and advanced training on mixed methods research techniques (e.g. SSC2 training for medical students), as well as delivering talks on the social and ethical implications of reproductive genetics both within, and beyond, academia .

Felicity is currently deputy head of the unit Social Science and Systems in Health.
