Evidence and Values in Clinical Education

Overview

This module aims to equip you with a critical understanding of the complex interrelationships between evidence and values, which underpin the practice and development of clinical education. With this module, the emphasis of the MMedEd course shifts from preparation for effective professional practice to development of a deeper critical and analytical understanding of some of the scientific research, philosophical, and theoretical issues relating to evidence and values in clinical education today.

Aims

The Evidence and Values module aims to provide students with a sound basis in preparation for undertaking research for a Professional Project or a dissertation.
