This module aims to equip participants with a critical understanding of the complex interrelationships between evidence and values in medical leadership. It will introduce the main basics of evidence based practice but applied to research appropriate to delivery of healthcare, to include aspects of social science research, business research and health economics.

It is designed not only to further the understanding of medical leadership, but to enhance skills for the project and/or dissertation, and future professional development in medical leadership

Requirements

Before taking this module as part of the MSc in Medical Leadership, students should have successfully completed the following modules:
